The year was 1986 and the Mets had it all. This brash, confident group had great pitching, clutch hitting and superb defense. But what may be most remembered is that a slow rolling ground ball down the first base line miraculously made it to the outfield. That trickling grounder capped an improbable three run, two out, 10th inning rally that propelled the Mets to a victory in the 6th game of the Fall Classic.
